A group video show organized by Jim Ovelmen and Barry Markowitz, UNIVERSE CITY offered over 60 videos projected in multiple places and situations. A model of the entire California State University at Los Angeles (CSULA) campus was installed in Gallery A with multiple videos projected on it. Single-channel videos were shown in Gallery B, and selected videos played 3 STORIES TALL outdoors, on an adjacent building. Tzanetopoulos’ videos on display included excerpts from: “Basic Video Tricks – Scarf “(1976), “Pixel – Shock Wall” (1988), “Pixel – Sizzle” (1988), and “Pixel – Pulse Pinch” (1988). Other featured videos were from artists from Los Angeles, New York, and all over the world.
